Turn ActionsPlayer Turn · In 1 guide

On your turn, choose one:

1. Show

Play a group of adjacent cards from your hand as the new Active Show. Must be either: - A set of identical numbers, or - A run of consecutive ascending or descending numbers

Must beat the current Active Show — more cards, or same count with higher values.

The first player each round must Show.

2. Scout

Take 1 card from either end of the Active Show and insert it anywhere in your hand. Give the player who made that Show 1 Scout token.

3. Scout & Show (one per round)

Scout a card, then immediately Show. Uses your one-time Scout & Show chip.

1. More Cards Always Wins

A larger group beats a smaller group regardless of type or value.

> A run of 4 cards beats a set of 3 cards. A set of 5 beats a run of 5 — wait, no: see below.

---

2. Set Beats a Run (same card count)

If both groups have the same number of cards, a set wins over a run.

> Three 6s beats a run of 4-5-6.

---

3. Higher Value Wins (same count, same type)

If both groups are the same type and same size, higher value wins.

  • Sets: higher number wins → two 8s beats two 5s
  • Runs: higher top card wins → 3-4-5 beats 1-2-3
