Game Preparation

  • Players: Best played with 3 to 7 players.
  • Deck: Use a standard 52-card deck.
  • Dealer: Choose the first dealer randomly; the deal rotates clockwise each round.

Determining Round Length

  • Variation: Games can start with a specific number of cards (e.g., 7 cards) down to 1, or start at 1 card up to a maximum based on player count, then back down.
  • Shuffle and Deal: Deal the exact number of cards for the current round face down to each player.
  • Trump Card: Turn the next card face up in the center of the table to establish the trump suit. Place any remaining deck aside.
